Navigating the Unexpected: Layoffs and What's Next

Layoffs. That word can send shivers down anyone's spine. It's a reality of the corporate world, but that doesn't make it any less difficult when it happens, especially at a company like Southwest Airlines, where so many people deeply identify with the brand and culture. 💔 My heart goes out to everyone affected by the recent news.

Having spent a good chunk of my career in HR, including some time at Southwest (many years ago!), I've unfortunately been on both sides of the layoff conversation. It's never easy. That's why I decided to create a video addressing this tough topic head-on.
